These may be subject to change and we shall not be obliged to notify you of changes so please refer to newsletters, MNC Facebook page and website for notifications of changes that may affect your membership.
2. Application for Membership
Any person living in the UK can apply. We reserve the right to deny membership and refuse access to our meetings and events or online facilities. We shall not be obliged to provide explanation for such refusal and not be liable for such action.
Application can be made in person or online and by submitting such application you are deemed to have accepted such terms and conditions.
3. Benefits of Membership
Two categories of membership exist standard and corporate and different fees apply for each. Corporate membership fee on application – please contact the Directors for more information and criteria.
Benefits of membership can be found on the member benefits page and can be subject to change. Such changes will be notified on our website.
4. Membership Fees
Fees are annual and can be paid as a one off payment through the website or by a payment plan. A months notice is required if you do not wish to renew at the end of the annual term. Fees are outlined on our website and subject to change without prior notice. Renewal fees are set by MNC and are set at our discretion. Honorary membership is provided at the discretion of the Directors and maybe withdrawn without notice. You are not obliged to renew your membership
5. Meetings and Events
Members are requested to book all meetings prior to attending and must make every endeavour to inform MNC if they cannot attend once booked. If a member attends a meeting without booking and the event is at capacity they will not be permitted their pitch time. They may stay at the meeting at the Manager’s discretion but this cannot be guaranteed. Special events may require payment before attending. Meetings will take place as stated on the website and are subject to alteration without prior notice. These arrangements are subject to alteration without prior notice. MNC may have to cancel meetings due to factors outside our control. We will endeavour to make every effort to avoid this and notify members but we will not be liable under any circumstances for any cancellation. If a speaker who is booked for a special event does not attend, The MNC will not be liable for such non-attendance.
Members agree to comply with all health and safety regulations and policies of all host venues.
MNC operates a non-exclusive, open to all policy. There is no limit on members from the same profession or discipline attending with exception being representatives or consultants from the same network marketing company. There will be a limit of 2 people representing the same organisation. There is no minimum or maximum number of meetings for attendance. Corporate membership terms and conditions are available on application.
Members may promote/represent the business or line of work that led them to join MNC. Multiple businesses or a new line of work/business may be promoted at the discretion of the Manager and cannot be guaranteed. The Manager may refer this to MNC HQ for a ruling and the Directors decision will be binding.
Members who run networking groups that may conflict with MNC or whose networking activities are deemed to be in competition with MNC, may not promote these groups or networks without express written permission from the Directors. The Directors reserve the right not to give this permission and no explanation may be forthcoming.
Members are required to contact MNC in advance of an event start time if they can no longer attend a meeting previously booked. If the member is deemed to be a ‘no show’ (i.e. they have not turned up and no prior warning or explanation, within a reasonable time frame after the event, is received) this could affect their entitlement to book future meetings. Two no shows consecutively, or at a given location will result in the member’s entitlement to book in advance rescinded. The member will be automatically placed on the requested location’s waiting list. MNC will then contact the member if a place is still available the day before.
MNC shall not be liable for any illness (or allergic reaction), accident or injury that occurs to members or guests while attending meetings. MNC will not be liable for the loss or damage to any persons personal or business possessions during a meeting.
The membership is an annual term and no fees are refundable. If you do not wish to renew after a year’s term then you must let us know in writing or by email. If you use the monthly payment plan for your membership, all 12 payments are due. If the payments fail, then we will invoice for the remaining balance and an admin fee may also become payable. If you use the monthly payment plan to pay for your yearly subscription and you do not wish to renew, you must notify us a month ahead of renewal so that we can cancel the ongoing payments. Failure to do so may result in a new year term being entered into. Any adjustment after that date will be subject to an admin charge. The MNC may terminate your membership at any time if your conduct does not fit with the ethos of The MNC. No refund shall be given in such a case and we shall not be obliged to give you a reason for such a termination. In such a case all your details will be removed from our website. And we shall withdraw all other benefits.
The membership fee is a whole club membership which gives you the freedom to travel to any of our groups, if they are not fully booked for the chosen month you wish to visit. If your chosen group location closes, a refund will only be offered if there is not another group that meets within a 15 mile radius. Any request for a refund that falls outside of this criteria, where a group has closed due to circumstances beyond MNC’s control, will only be considered at the Directors discretion.
